The Motorola Milestone 2 has a 5 Megapixel Camera with dual LED flash for image capture and video recording. It also has great messaging features with the addition of Motoblur technology combining social networks together into one view, and a connected media player.
The handset runs an enhanced version of Motoblur on top of the latest Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system which together provide a seamless user interface which can be controlled by either the touch screen or the slide out Qwerty keyboard. The phone has a 1 GHz processor allowing it to perform extremely fast, even when running multiple applications at one time, the new Webkit web browser based on the Google V8 Javascript engine is also now extremely fast and comes with Flash Player 10.1 alongside its HTML support to display webpages in their true capacity.
Messaging capabilities offered by the phone include full email support with Corporate Sync and Google Mail as well as push notification for new emails arriving. Meanwhile, multimedia messaging includes sync and stream of popular social networks together into one view, including Facebook, Twitter and MySpace through Motoblur. Text messaging and voice to text are also featured, and typed input is aided by the seamless Swype predictive text technology which follows the fingers across the onscreen keypad.
The Milestone 2 has a connected music player which not only sorts all your tracks but also provides you with their lyrics, artist news and additional information, and Motoblur to help you to share and recommend your music and movies to your friends. Video streaming is present and all major video and audio file formats are supported by the Media Player with its cover flow sleek interface, showing album artwork and more.
The handsets features a 5 megapixel auto focus camera with dual LED flash for enhanced lighting in poor conditions and Digital Zoom for greater clarity and picture taking ability. Other camera facilities are image stabilisation, real-time colour effects, multiple scene modes and automatic location tagging (Geotagging). The Geotagging can be edited using the integrated image editing tools, which also allow you to crop and rotate images on the handset before sharing or syncing them to elsewhere.
The Motorola Milestone 2 is a powerful handset featuring endless capabilities with the latest version of the Android operating system, and including the Android Market offering you endless numbers of apps for download to further add capabilities to this already feature-packed handset. The user interface is seamless and you are also provided with great choice between either the onscreen or type input.
